Dr. Bonnet grew up in Dayton, Ohio and is board-certified in Sports, Obesity, Family, and Lifestyle Medicine. He is passionate about optimizing health, improving performance, and fostering longevity. He believes in combining the best of what conventional and lifestyle medicine have to offer in order to prevent, treat, and reverse chronic disease by addressing the root cause.
He has a background in exercise physiology and maintains his ACSM personal trainer certification. He completed his undergraduate and medical school degrees at Ohio State University before finishing his family medicine residency at Duke University, and his sports medicine fellowship at the University of Florida. He also holds a master’s degree in public health from Harvard.
Outside Inertia, Dr. Bonnet is the Program Director of medical weight loss at the Clinical Resource Hub Weight Management Center at the Palo Alto Veterans Affairs and is a Clinical Associate professor (affiliate) at Stanford University School of Medicine.
